Teen Programs

2025-26 regular programming:

TEEN OPEN MIC + KARAOKE

For 9th-12th graders  |  1st Saturday of the Month (during the school year)  |  7-9pm  |  FREE  |  Stoneworks Youth Center

High school students from any school (or homeschool!) are invited to drop in to the Teen Open Mic + Karaoke Night. Bring your instruments or top karaoke picks, slam poetry, original short acts, or any other performance pieces… or just come hang out, eat snacks, and cheer on the performers. Most months this low key, low stress evening is held in the cozy Stoneworks Youth Center building, but occasionally we’ll take to The Cooperage’s main stage, complete with lights and professional sound board!

Notice to Adults: For the safety of our teens, this event is not open to parents and general members of the public. If your student requires an adult chaperone or assistant, please reach out to our Youth Programs Coordinator to discuss (jess@thecooperageproject.org); we can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

TEEN ART LOUNGE

For 6th-12th graders  |  3rd Friday of the Month (during the school year)  |  6-8pm  |   FREE |  Stoneworks Youth Center

*Pre-registration required. Fill out the form here.

Teen Art Lounge, for middle and high schoolers, features a different artist each month leading a workshop to try your hand at a new medium, with lots of open time to hang out and make art.

Both of these programs are held in the Stoneworks Youth Center, directly behind The Cooperage Project.
Schedules may change in the summer.
*If you are a teen with a great idea of an event or regular series you want to see happen (or want to help MAKE happen) here, let us know! →amanda@thecooperageproject.org
