MicroGreens

MicroGreens for families with children ages 2-4 is offered monthly during our Main Street Farmers Market. This spinoff of our healthy living class for older kids, Romping Radishes, offers an opportunity for families with “covid babies” to join together for fun and meaningful activities that will help them build a community of support while enriching their young child’s mind. This program models positive parenting skills, supports mental health, and invites community engagement from families who have been particularly impacted by the isolation of the pandemic.

Each month at MicroGreens kiddos enjoy a book, playful movement, sensory and hands-on activities, and a healthy snack. Join us upstairs at Stoneworks Youth Center, located directly behind The Cooperage, from 10-11am on the fourth Saturday of each month. Then enjoy the Main Street Farmers Market (11am-1pm) held inside the main space at The Cooperage! Suggested donation of $5 per kid.

We are also pleased to provide a location for monthly preschool playgroups offered by our community partner, The Wayne County Family Center. This free meet-up for the MicroGreens age group includes art, music, gross motor play, and parent coaching. It is held at Stoneworks on the second Tuesday of each month, 10:00-11:30am.
