Romping Radishes is a hands-on healthy living class for children in preschool through second grade and their caregivers. Playful one-hour workshops use movement, games, storytelling, and crafts to explore topics around physical, social, and mental health and wellness.
Romping Radish programs in November-April coincide with our Main Street Farmers Market and emphasize themes of healthy eating, awareness of food production, and taking care of the environment. Join us upstairs at Stoneworks Youth Center, located directly behind the Cooperage, on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 10-11am. Then enjoy the Main Street Farmers Market (11am – 1pm) held inside the main space at the Cooperage! Suggested donation of $5 per kid.
Younger children are welcome to join and will be able to participate with adult support. Our previous program, MicroGreens, is now combined with Romping Radishes!
Romping Radishes is funded by donations from Maple City Anesthesia LLC, the Dime Bank, Honesdale National Bank, Weis Markets, and PPL Utilities through the EITC program, and from community donations.
