Led by Grammy Award–winning trombonist Ryan Keberle, Catharsis has been praised by the Los Angeles Times for its “potent blend of cinematic sweep and lush, ear-grabbing melodies.” The ensemble weaves together chamber music, South American folk traditions, and indie rock within a modern jazz framework, creating a sound that is both expansive and deeply personal—one that has captivated audiences around the world for nearly a decade.

At the heart of Catharsis is the striking rapport between Keberle and guitarist/vocalist Camila Meza, anchored by the unshakeable pulse of bassist Jorge Roeder. Together, they form a distinctive musical voice—rich with drama, intimacy, and quiet intensity.
