Stoneworks Youth Center

After years of dreaming, in fall 2023 The Cooperage Project opened the doors to Stoneworks Youth Center, a dedicated space for youth and families in our community!

Located directly behind The Cooperage on Main Street, Stoneworks is the physical home for programs including Romping Radishes, MicroGreens, Wayne Highlands Pop-Up Club, and Teen Programs including Teen Open Mic and Teen Art Lounge. We’re able to provide these types of programs often for free or a small suggested donation.

Having a separate space for youth programs enables us to offer more programs for more kids, more often! It also provides us with additional opportunities to collaborate with community partners like the Wayne County Family Center, which hosts a monthly preschool playgroup in Stoneworks. Having a full-time, dedicated youth building that is designed with young people and families in mind is an exciting advancement for welcoming more members of our community to belong here at The Cooperage Project!
